Do you send cards for the Holidays? Snail mail is my love language and I am HERE for any excuse to send something tangible in the mail. No matter how simple.
𝟓 t𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚-𝐟𝐮𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬:
1.) Shop at local stores / book shops for cheap and unique cards. I found a box of 20 cards for CHEAPER than the tiny box of 8 at Target. No offense, Target. But ~you iz expensive~ sometimes.
2.) Ditch the white envelopes that come with it (but save them and just use them for something else later on), and grab a colored version of the same size at @papersource. I chose greeeeeeen.
3.) LE PENS are the BEST pens for writing on waxy cards. I've found that ballpoint pens smear, as do the Sharpie pens. Le Pens have the same effect as fine-tip Sharpie pens, but they DON'T SMEAR.
4.) Go to your local post office and ask to see allll the holiday stamps they have. They will usually have MORE than the ones pictured in the little poster on the wall.
I chose the "WinterBerry" stamps.
5.) Get funky on the outside with some Crayola Supertip markers! Write BIG. Make your letters different sizes. Use different colors. Make it fun. Who cares if it looks like a 3rd grader did it????
FINALLY, as I was working on these this morning, I got a package and found The Dutch House inside, with the sweetest note AND bookmark from @_shelflove_ It perfectly coordinated with all of my colors so I had to add it to the photo.
AGHHHGHGHGHGH can we all just bask in the glory that is Ashley??!!
Have you read this one? Sending holiday cards too? Have any other tips to add to this list? Let's chat.
