monday’s are for meal prep!🧚🏼‍♀️😇 — 𝗯𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗳𝘂: thinly sliced tofu squares seasoned with salt, pepper, crushed red, and soy sauce, baked at 425 for 15 min 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀: asparagus, cauliflower, and onion seasoned with salt and pepper (cauli got some cumin+paprika too) roasted at 425 for 15-20 minutes. i added in the onions later, they cooked for 10-15 min 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺+𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝘂𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼: risotto cooked with @betterthanbouillon seasoned vegetable base, as well as sliced white mushrooms, 1” long chopped asparagus stalks, diced white onion, and minced garlic. seasoned with salt, pepper, and thyme — will probably post the risotto recipe more in depth sometime this week! it’s sooooo good and so easy despite the misconception that risotto is overwhelmingly difficult.

It's Monday, and you know what that means! 𝘔𝘦𝘢𝘭. 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘱.⁣ ⁣ Garlic Rosemary Pork Tenderloin with Orzo and Veggies⁣ 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬⁣ 8 garlic cloves⁣ 1/4 cup fresh rosemary leaves⁣ 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt plus more⁣ 2 tablespoons olive oil⁣ 1 4-pound boneless pork loin⁣ Black pepper⁣ 2 cups chicken stock⁣ ⁣ Publix steam-in-bag vegetables (in the coolers of the produce section)⁣ Whole wheat orzo ⁣ ⁣ 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬⁣ ▪Preheat oven to 400°.⁣ ▪Finely chop garlic and rosemary with 1/2 teaspoon salt on a cutting board. Holding knife at an angle, drag blade over mixture until a coarse paste forms. Transfer paste to a small bowl and mix in oil.⁣ ▪Open the pork loin and lightly score the inside with a knife, making diagonal cuts. Spread garlic mixture over inside of loin and season with salt and pepper. Put the halves back together tightly; using kitchen twine, tie at 1 inch intervals.⁣ ▪Season pork with salt and pepper; place, fat side up, in a large shallow baking dish. Add chicken stock; roast pork until an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest part of loin registers 145°, 1 1/2–2 hours. Transfer to a carving board; let rest at least 10 minutes. Makes 8 servings.⁣ ⁣ ▪Cook vegetable packet according to package directions. (You can use the remainder of the pork's time in the oven to cook the veggies.)⁣ ▪Add your choice of starch - pictured with whole wheat orzo.⁣ Once you boil the water, 1 c. orzo only takes 10-12 minutes to cook. When your in a rush but need to whip up something simple quick yet delicious try some nice ground beef flavor! 2lbs ground beef #butcherboxmeats ) Fresh mushrooms (the more the merrier) 1 can of Red Kidney beans, black beans and garbanzo beans( we love #365wholefoods brand) 1 onion 3 minced garlic cloves I add a little butter and add the minced onion and garlic first for a nice rich flavor, after I add my meat, once it’s turning brown I add my clean cut up mushrooms. I rinse the cans of beans and add them last! I add salt, a little bit of sweet paprika, rosemary, and Italian herbs ! Super easy simple yet delicious! After a workout, your body needs to replace the nutrients lost in your sweat session. Here are some tips I have learned over time, to help you make sure you have the right ingredients for proper nutrition post workout. 1. Start with a liquid base🥛-I like to choose unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk because it's a low sugar base. 2.Add Whole Fruit for Natural Sweetness 🍓 - I choose whole pieces of fruit, love to use frozen fruit instead of ice. I don't like using fruit juices because fruit juice lacks the fiber found in whole pieces of fruit. 3. Add Leafy Greens 🌱-My go to- is usually spinach. It doesn't have a big bitter taste when added to a smoothie. Leafy greens have magnesium which is great for muscle recovery. You can choose kale too. Everyone is different, learn what works for you. 4. Add Healthy Fats 🥜-Flax Seeds/ Chia Seeds- Omega 3 Healthy fat reduces inflammation, high in fiber and keeps you feeling full longer. 5. Does anyone else fine serious amounts of comfort in planning, structure and control? I love to plan, prep and portion my food. Someone recently said to me “celery isn’t a real vegetable”, to which I gasped and clutched my pearls. The reason for my offense was simple, it’s #cuteandpicky’s #1 vegetable, which makes it mine too. 😂 That aside, it is indeed a real vegetable, it just doesn’t have the PR team of cauliflower or kale! It has lots of vitamins, minerals, and fiber. It’s so versatile too, as it can be eaten raw or cooked. As such, I put that $?*+ in everything! Monday meal prep always includes cooking 2 lbs of ground meat (beef or turkey) with onion, garlic, and 2 cups of celery mixed into it, for use in meals throughout the week (tacos, pasta, soup, grain bowls, etc). I hear people say they don’t like ground turkey because it turns grey. The reason for that is not the protein, but your cooking technique. Try this: sauté your aromatics first (onions/garlic/celery), then remove them from the pan. Heat a few tbsp of neutral oil over high heat, and when shimmering, add your ground turkey (season first with a little S&P), and DO NOT STIR! Press meat into a large disk so that it makes maximum contact with the surface area of the pan. Once meat develops a nice brown crust, stir to cook the other sides. When meat is cooked all the way through. Add aromatics back to pan and season again with S+P if necessary. #toddlermeals #toddlerfood #kidfood #mealprep #mealprepmonday

Her i hjemmet er meal prep en opgave som jeg har taget til mig, da jeg elsker at lave mad 😍 I dag har jeg lavet en standard bulgur salat, ris og kylling m. Grøntsager Hvis i swip’er én gang, så kommer i til mandens favorit. Kylling i grøntsager. Her starter jeg bare ud med at stege noget kylling m. Salt, peber, vegeta (en krydderi der kan fås i diverse grønthandlere/bazaren) og en smule soya sauce. Når de så er stegt tilføjer jeg en masse grøntsager (bare ens egne favoritter - her har vi bare brugt en pose vi havde på frys), jeg lader det stege lidt, så kommer jeg kokosmælk og en smule mere soya i, og lader det passe sig selv i 10min tid på lav varme. 😍❤️

For those of you who don’t know my meal prep secret here is a quick overview: Make extra of one dinner when you have time to cook in order to repurpose part of it for another quick prep meal. . This pork roast I made for the family with dumplings. I made sure to make extra pork roast that I would then be able to use in a quick cook fried rice with leftover cold rice and chopped up vegetables. . I still had plenty extra pork roast that I then used to make Cuban style paninis made with whole wheat tortillas... so yum 😋 . Keeping Glad in Business ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Many organizers, including myself, will tell clients to really narrow down their #tupperware collection. Berenar ("preworkout" para los amigxs) : mató 0% i plàtan Sopar: salmó a la planxa amb bròquil (made in cal Piquer) i boniato. Anticipar-se, és el primer pas per controlar la gana i menjar saludable, portar el menjar amb tu evitarà que compris/mengis alternatives poc saludables que a tots i totes ens venen de gust quan la gana apareix! Roasting veggies is such a beautiful and easy way of cooking and it enhances and sweetens the flavour of the veg. It is perfect as a side, or mixed with couscous, pasta, quinoa or lentils. . . . . . This morning I roasted peppers, aubergine, onion, tomatoes and chickpeas with a splash of olive oil and a balsamic vinegar at 180 degrees for 30 mins. I then mixed through some cooked quinoa and chopped spinach, which is now packed up in my meal prep lunch boxes ready for the week ahead. . . . . . . Many people would find it boring having the same lunch every day, but I make sure to pack myself up something delicious to look forward to every lunchtime.
