☆MOVE YOUR BODY☆
Working out has never been something I considered myself to be 'good at'. For years I would feel defeated rather than inspired after a gym sesh, my knees would hurt after running, and I've never been much of a sports person.
Many times I wanted to give up, accepting that cardio or exercise wasn't for me. Boy, was I wrong. Our bodies are designed to MOVE and be STRONG!
Sure, it can be easier to stay stagnant. What we have to remember is that the easy road doesn't always lead to the best life. When one path isn't working, take a turn and try something else!
After exploring options other than yoga, I discovered my love for dance- especially cardio hip hop. Burning calories and gettin' down at the same time?! Fuck yeah. Also, hiking. Connecting with nature and my breath is EVERYTHING to me. 🌿
With these new forms of exercise under my belt, I feel READY to sweat.💧
When I move my body, I feel accomplished, balanced, strong, and healthy.💪
