I think in times like this, it pays to switch off. 🙏 - I mean seriously, what fuck can we do? 😬 - We have zero control over a global pandemic. 💁‍♂️ - There's a beautiful feature on Instagram, click the top right 3 dots, look for "activity" and see how much your Instagram average daily use is. Mine was 3 hours 30 minutes. That's huge. Sure I post and try to engage but that's maybe 1-1:30. 🙏 - I dont have an excuse for those 2 hours of my life I'm wasting daily. Just consuming crap and not putting my best foot forward. 😌 - So I suggest you do the same. ✌️ - In times like this we must control what we can control, I'm telling you do the basics, clean your room, wipe down all the surfaces, vacuum, clean your car, stay off social as much as possible and watch your mood shift. 🙏 - Love you all so much ❤️ - I'm alive today which means I have another beautiful day ahead of time spent with people who are still working hard and are chasing goals and happiness. ❤️ - It's a fucking weird time, but we're better than this. 😷😂

Starting the new Fit Girls challenge today, once again with my 28 Day Jumpstart! One of the BIGGEST things I’ve learned on my fitness journey is to accept PROGRESS instead of perfection. ⁣ ⁣ The thought of starting something new (or starting OVER) used to scare the heck out of me!! Muscles don't make the man. 😌 - My entire life, I grew up thinking it was the surface level stuff that made us who we were.💁‍♂️ - For example, I'm Adriano a 27 year old personal trainer, that wants to be a competitive bodybuilder. 💁‍♂️ - That doesn't explain who I am truly, it's surface level stuff I used to think I needed to be and other people to be, to matter and be loved. ❤️ - I used to base my relationships with friends or women, on surface level attractions, if they had a stable job, if they presented well. 🙅 - That's all I grew up around was people who knew how to present a fake front in society and then the rest didn't matter. 😬 - We are so much more than that, and we should seek to be so much more than that, in ourselves and in our relationships. ❤️ - What is that stuff, it's knowing who you are on a deeper level, and accepting that, warts and all. ❤️ - My ego can get in the way of my honesty with myself, I can be very arrogant and "she'll be right" about stuff I shouldn't be. 💁‍♂️ - I also love the people around me so much that I call regularly, tell them I love them, go for walks and listen to their stuff. I am always trying to add value to my service with my clients, just to be better for them. ❤️ - So there's some character defects and some great characteristics I have, and knowing that allows me to show up for myself and the people I love in my life. ❤️ - I hope you're all having a great weekend and try to understand who you really are, day by day. 😘 - Lots of love, Rizz. I can't believe tomorrow is the LAST DAY of my ballet barre program! 😱💕⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This workout program has challenged me physically and mentally, especially with my trainer REALLY BRINGING THE HEAT this last week! (600 calories burned in 40 minutes 🤯😳😅) I underestimated the baby weights and dance themed workouts and I should have KNOWN that a ballet barre program would be the most amazing full body challenge.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Tomorrow I will finish my 9th workout program from start to finish, and it will be my 215th workout in 215 days. This is my LIFESTYLE. I've committed to moving my body, and showing myself that I can do hard things every single day. I really enjoy being alone 😌 - - I've always found that I enjoy doing things by myself, training, exploring etc. 🙏 - - I like the mental battle of loneliness on tour, triumph over it, doing what you want when you want, and having nobody else to blame when things go wrong, I suppose that's why I started my own business, aside from that I don't like having somebody tell me what to do, I like a collaborative process, if anything. ❤️ - - I wanted to empower people to learn and be able to train on their own. I believe I've done that with all my clients that's why I love what I do, through my knowledge I can give power. 👑 - - The more alone time I spend, the more I understand who I am, I become a better coach, friend. 👑 - - So I started my journey with fitness, completely alone at 16 years old. TWO. HUNDRED. WORKOUTS.⁣ IN TWO. HUNDRED. DAYS. ✅✅⁣ ⁣ When I first started this MOVE YA DANG BODY journey on July 29th of last year, I didn't know how long I would be able to keep it up. I doubted myself. I was afraid of being embarrassed by my physical limitations, I was afraid of FAILING.⁣ ⁣ Little did I know that moving my body every day would become my new way of life. Before y'all freak out: I sprinkle in active recovery workouts every week so I'm not overworking my muscles! (Trust me, they let me know when they have had enough 😅) It is so much easier to commit to a habit when you do not give yourself the option of having days off! Even if it is just 10 minutes of yoga or stretching, I know I will move my body just like I know I will brush my teeth every morning. It's DONE, no discussion. It doesn't matter where I am or what's going on... I have continued this journey on 3 vacations, 3 separate house sitting visits, and all through the tricky holiday season.⁣ ⁣ & Let's make another thing VERY clear: I NEVER WORK OUT BECAUSE I HATE MY BODY. Oh hell no. I have my insecure moments like everyone else, but that's when I grab my personal development books, not the dumbbells. I WORK OUT BECAUSE I LOVE MY BODY. Exercise is my REWARD for keeping myself healthy and happy. I workout because there are so many people that can't and I need to appreciate my body and its capabilities every single day. Whenever I saw someone who looked fit, I wondered how many hours they spent lifting in a gym. I definitely didn’t have the luxury of hanging out at the gym for hours every single day!⁣ ⁣ Speaking of luxuries, I KNEW I couldn’t afford their personal trainer, either 💸💸⁣ ⁣ It was all very intimidating because I’d never really “worked out” before so I had no idea where to even start. Anyone else keep thinking its MONDAY??? We all love a long weekend, but sometimes it can be so hard to bounce back into our routine!⁣ ⁣ SO here are 7 WAYS TO GET BACK ON TRACK:⁣ ⁣ ☆ Ditch the Shame. It happens to all of us. (Sugar has been proven to be more addictive than heroin, y’all 😳🤯) Life is meant to be ENJOYED through BALANCE, and you are 100000% supposed to indulge now and then!⁣ ⁣ ☆ Skip the Scale. I hardly ever step on a scale anymore, the number can be effected by SO MANY small factors, and it doesn't give you even close to a a fair assessment of your health. If you're feeling bloated, it’s probably excess salt and water retention! ⁣ ⁣ ☆ Make yourself a tea or water drink that fills you up! Cravings or false sense of hunger are OFTEN from dehydration.⁣ ⁣ ☆ Make sure your next meal is filled with veggies. If you like to eat a LOT of food (volume eaters unite), you can do that with veggies!! Always keep snackable veggies on hand! (And guac/protein dip to dip them in.)⁣ ⁣ ☆ Use any extra calories as energy and go for a walk! Clean the house! Just MOVE!⁣ ⁣ When my mental intake is at capacity and I’m tempted to binge my favorite show on the couch and do nothing, my favorite way to bringe but stay active is to clean and organize with Netflix on in the background. I'm a bit of a perfectionist 🙈 - - Something I realised is I only show people what I want them to see because I'm embarassed of when I fail or decide I don't want to do a goal I publicly announced. I'm embarassed to be seen with pizza when I'm dieting because people will think I've fallen off. 💁‍♂️ - - It's not a good thing to beat yourself up if you don't do everything perfectly, it only brings you further down, so if you're trying to succeed, being your own harshest critic isn't a good thing. ❤️ - - Constructive internal dialogue is key for progress I'm slowly learning. 👊 - - So what I'm trying to say is, you're exactly where you are because it couldn't and didn't, happen any other way. None of it matters! 😂🙈 - - Now what is a calorie deficit, so many of you have no clue what that is, and I do, so let me explain. 🙏 - - Everyday to maintain proper bodily functions, we need a certain amount of fuel, energy, otherwise known as calories. 👌 - - Everything we eat and drink has calories in them, except water. ✌️ - - So that's why it's so important to track everything you eat and drink so you know if you've gone over or under your calories to maintain proper bodily function. 👌 - - If you're trying to lose weight, you need to take in less energy than what your body needs to maintain its weight. 🙏 - - If you're bulking up, you need to exceed the number of calories your body needs to maintain its weight. ✌️ - - When you eat less energy than what your body needs to maintain, that's called a deficit, when you eat to grow, that's called a calorie surplus. - - If you have any confusion around this at all, this is one leg of the tripod I offer in the "dad bod solution" program I'm developing.😍💆‍♂️ - - So dad's, get ready to make your dad bod a thing of the past and get ready to look your best. ✌️

Hey guys, it's Monday funday 😂 - - It feels like I broke my back from training yesterday and I aged 10 years in 2.5 hours, but I'm here and ready to help guide you through your monday. 😂 🙏 (The adversity I push through for you guys, jeez 😂) - - Someone very close to me has been educating me on how to be gentle with yourself. 😍 - - I don't know who I am and chances are none of us know we are, because we never take the time to sit in silence with ourselves. 🤯 - - We play music, we train, we set goals, we have intimate relationships, we eat, we are so busy caught up doing, that we fucking forget to just BE. ✌️ - - If we slowed down our go go attitude, and reminded ourselves the purpose of life is to live in our respective moments and not constantly be doing to escape such moments, we feel more calm, present, serene. If we took the time to spend time to get to know ourselves without "doing" we would be so much happier, just "being". 🙏 - - The doer in ourselves wants us chasing perfection, the being in us wants the progression. 💆‍♂️💆‍♀️😌 - - Have you ever lost weight and thought, "that's not good enough" I had one of my gorgeous clients today LOSE 9 cm from her waist and GROW 2cms on her legs and bum in 6 weeks. Yet she was still dissatisfied with her efforts even though, they are incredible results. 😍 - - Using that example, if we were chasing progression our reaction would be happiness, elation. Personal post. 🙏 - - Only 7 months ago, I had a broken foot and couldn't walk. If I didn't work, I didn't get paid, for 8 weeks. When I broke my foot, I found out and still made my session with my client, with a walking stick and a mean hop. My legs had shrunk, I was out of shape. I still hit the gym 4-5 days a week made no excuses did grandma's shopping with only a back pack and crutches, all around Coles because she can't drive/walk and got the work done. Safe to say I ate and drank the feelings. 🙏💁‍♂️ - - Sometimes I put way too much on my plate and I fall apart, but I always keep fucking going. This photo shows me that I can look after the ones I love, still put food on my table, and have a nice healthy body to use daily. I don't make excuses, I just do what needs to be done. I honestly cannot stress how important this is. 🙏 - - If you literally threw out everything you knew about building a fit and healthy body, and we're just consistent with 1-2-3-4-5 days a week. If you literally chose any number and you repeated it over your lifespan you would have a very strong and healthy body. 💪 - - We get bogged down in details, we want variety in our programs because we lie and tell ourselves we want "change". Instead we don't have the mental toughness to push through the same exercises session in and session out, to do the hard consistent work it takes. 💪 - - Prior to my desire to bodybuild competitively, I was consistently inconsistent with training, anywhere from 1-4 days per week. As a result, I had a lean, strong, healthy body. 😍 - - Was I the biggest hell no, was I the leanest no, strongest gtfoh 😂 but for those who don't want to compete I.e. most of you, for those you want to be strong and fit, you don't need a new plan you don't need anything other than consistency. Showing up daily. - - Whether or not you need a coach to do that, I'm always here for you guys and gals. No witty caption, just a beautiful bald man trying to provide more value to the world. ✌️ - - This year, I've invested so much of my money back into myself. My car doesn't have a rear windscreen wiper, the interior of my car is falling out, there's a dent on the side front hitting a trolley bay. I'd rather spend the money on being more valuable, than a stupid car that gets me from a-b😂 - - What have I spent my money on though this year that I didn't for a good portion last year, education. This year I've invested more than 10% of my annual income into myself, through coaching courses, seminars and online training, maybe even more, actually more 😂 because I'm obsessed with being the best coach and best person I can be. 🙏 - - Am I that guy, fuck no 😂 but am I having a crack, and putting my money where my mouth is, and putting things that matter to me and my future first. Today was my FIRST DAY of my new ballet barre program!!⁣ (check out my stories to see all the fun moves 😉)⁣ ⁣ AND if you read "ballet" and assumed it was just a bunch of fluffy arm movements and I didn't break a sweat... my BUTT is (very sore 😆 and) here to correct you! I felt muscles I didn't even KNOW I HAD! My muscles were challenged but I also feel so stretched out. I might be sore tomorrow but not in the "oh my gawwdd I can't walk" kinda way that some of my other programs do to me lol. Urgghh but it's hard Rizz. 🙏 - - Yep, the best things in life take the most discipline to achieve. 💁‍♂️ - - Fact is, if you've bought detox powders, sleep formula, fat burners, you're not happy with your results. 🤭 - - You want to speed up the process because "it takes too long". Well guess what motherbitch 😂 yes it does, and you'll be a better person if you stick it out and keep getting results day by day. As those results you're not happy with over the course of a year, add up. Then whaddya know, you're 10kg down, and you've developed HABITS something supplements cannot give you. 🙏 - - So yes supplements have their place, I love them, but only if you use them on top of your already quality diet, exercise, and sleep. 🤭 - - So get off the phone 1hr before bed, write your goals for the next day, get your 8 hours rest, drink your 4 litres of water a day, do a 20 minute walk in the morning, train your ass off and push through pain. Go to work, smile. You're only going to be better of for it. You're gonna die soon. I'm gonna die soon. All that matters is you actually try 💪 - - The amount of times I've failed is fucking stupid 😂 if I judged myself on my failures alone, or by my successes, I'd be a pretty negative guy. To be perfectly honest, sometimes I do that too, but I'm human, and being aware of the fact that you choose how you feel about what you decide to feel about is key. 🗝️ - - I could sit there and bullshit about to you all about how I'm crushing it, but all of the time I'm not. Most of the time however, I'm trying, and I fucking love the fact that I'm having a go. 😍 - - Bodybuilding, relationships, business. I'm trying my best to learn from mistakes and taking action towards being a better coach, friend, relative, and person. Lots of times I'll suck, but some of the time I won't, and it all adds up, and before you know it, it's the end of the year and you've got some runs on the board and you're doing better than last year 💁‍♂️ - - So my advice is keep trying, don't stress about micro losses, don't quit because you ate like a pig, don't stress because you hit the piss and you're hungover when you said you wouldn't for the 100th time.
