I challenged my husband to do 10 pushups with me, every night.
Of course, he could do them with ease from Day 1, and because I hadn't done pushups in quite a while, I was struggling again.
(I got to a point where I could do 10 in a row before.)
Anywho, we only missed a night twice in the whole time we've been doing it, and we did 20 the next day. (Once was because we were out for my best friend's bday & we didn't get home until after 1am... The 2nd time was just me, and I was out for a girl's night of karaoke, didn't get home until after 2am! Lol)
I even did my pushups while volunteering at a dance at my son's school last Friday!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Anywho, Day 1 I was doing 1 to 3 at a time & then taking a few second break..
I've been able to do 10, straight, for about a week & a half, now..
Last night I did 12 in a row!!!
I did it, again, tonight!
Originally, I told him we would do 10 in Jan, 15 in Feb, 20 in March, etc.. But, I have just kind of been going with it, and not pushing it too hard, seeing as how we do it every day.
We make sure that our form is right & that it's quality over quantity.
Our 10 year old son started joining us each night, and he looks forward to it.
So, we do pushups, as a family, every night at 8pm!
